You will need to trim the small stump at the bottom of the battery compartment and cut an opening in the battery cover lid door for the USB-C port. No soldering is required. I sell custom molded shells that are pre-molded to accept an IPS screen and the rechargeable battery pack. You will still need to put an opening in the battery cover lid door for the USB-C port. If you want to keep it simple, just open the lid and push the USB-C cord directly in.
