DescriptionThis item is a drop in replacement mod for the original Xbox gaming console. It replaces the noisy original equipment fan with an extremely quiet Nexus brand fan. After installing, you will notice a substantial decrease in fan noise from the console.Our testing has shown that the GPU runs 5° Celsius cooler and the CPU also runs 5° C cooler with our modification versus just a Nexus fan on its own. Lower temperatures improve the life of electronics. This makes the modification a fair bit superior to just using the Nexus fan alone. A 60mm Noctua fan also runs hotter than either of these configurations and makes just as much noise.Installation is relatively easy and can be done with a T20 and T10 screwdriver and about 15 minutes of time.
